About Me
Influenced by my grandmother and mother, both of whom loved kimono, I began studying kimono dressing at the Kobayashi Toyoko Kimono Academy while still in university, eventually earning my certification as a kimono dresser. Most of the kimonos I own were passed down from my grandmother and mother, each one carrying cherished memories from my childhood.
Since 2023, I have been living in Västerås, Sweden. As a mother raising my children far from Japan, I feel a deep desire to pass on Japanese culture to them.
At Kimono Hana Kokoro, I am dedicated to helping people who appreciate Japanese culture—whether in Japan or abroad—celebrate their important milestones with the beauty of kimono.
