About Me
Influenced by my grandmother and mother, both of whom loved kimono, I began studying kimono dressing at the Kobayashi Toyoko Kimono Academy while still in university, eventually earning my certification as a kimono dresser.
Most of the kimonos I own were passed down from my grandmother and mother, each one carrying cherished memories from my childhood.
In 2023, I began offering kimono dressing services in Sweden, helping people experience traditional Japanese culture outside Japan.
Since 2025, I have been living in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. As a mother raising my children far from Japan, I feel a deep desire to pass on Japanese culture to them.
Through Kimono Hana Kokoro, I share the beauty of kimono and support people who appreciate Japanese culture—both in Japan and abroad.
Whether you are interested in wearing kimono, learning about it, or celebrating a special moment, I hope to help you experience its beauty.
